"ONYX" - Wireframing Mock-Up
Ahba Oil

For this small project I worked with a local small business to put together some captivating media for their new product that they would be selling in their storefront of their hair salon.
Just Like in any project I seek to make sure the product is clear and easy to visualize for the viewer. I also work with clients to ensure that their brand guidelines are being adhered to. This means I pay attention to font, color, and visual themes that already exist within your brand. In emphasizing these characteristics i also make sure that with new visual media you never lose the familiarity you have with your customer/audience.

Paint Series
Gold Series from "Reframed" - Solo Exhibition 2022
In this Series I tackle my first project inspired by abstracted surrealism. Through a realist lens I try to capture nostalgia, love, pain, and dreams on the canvas. The golden frames pull from tradition while still approaching what's new and innovative. The canvas in a way you have not seen it before. As this series and style of art evolve I hope to capture more of life's experiences and show viewers the building blocks of resilience. As a young person who's faced with picking up the torch and facing societal challenges I deeply believe in using my gift as a tool to help shape the society I want my children to live in. I believe this series allows me to use my artistic voice to speak up about the growth and prosperity of people of color. I get to play a vital role in shaping our narrative through paintings that will give future generations an understanding of who we were. A type of visual lineage that was intentionally withheld from us through the act of colonialism. This work is healing. |
